🌱🔬 Spring STEM Week: Why Environment-Based Learning matters in STEM As part of Spring STEM Week, the ECOTEACH project highlights the importance of Environment-Based Learning (EBL) as an innovative way to teach Science and Mathematics in more meaningful and inclusive ways.EBL connects classroom learning with real environmental contexts. Instead of learning only through textbooks, students explore real challenges such as biodiversity, waste, energy use, water consumption or climate change through practical STEM activities.This approach helps students understand how mathematics and science are used in everyday life while increasing motivation, participation and problem-solving skills.For disadvantaged schools and learners, EBL can be especially powerful.
